More than likely you will need an RCA cable (I can't describer it, but ask for one at WalMart or Radio Shack).

Your laptop should have a "Video Out" jack somewhere, more than likely yellow in color.

Connect the two, change the input on your TV to which ever input jack you plugged in to. Then (according to your owners manual), switch the display of your laptop.

This may not be much help, but it should get you started. Also be warned that you have have to change the resolution to get a picture that looks decent.

How do you hook a laptop up to your tv? What cables do you need and what do you hook to what? one of the tv's is over ten years old and the other one is a couple of years old.
