I wasn't impressed at first with vista either. BUt you can get something u asked about at staples called "readyboost" usb port. You need atleast 2gb would be perfect. Vista can use it as memory to boot and run programs like the memory it already has. They say vista is adaptive too. The only problem i have with this dell is it has a ****ty trend-pcillin virus software and i only partially got it deleted. If i could completely delete it i would be okay.

But if you dont have over 2ghz processor and 3MB of ram(unless you wanna try readyboost which might do the trick) u should try just getting new virus software and allowing vista to grow on you. It has adaptive mode it learns what your after. My crashed and i bought a package u can get from pctools that has spydoctor and registry mechanic. Computers have to have registry mechanics to go through and correct mistakes on a regular basis that keeps it from crashing

I dont like the casing on my dell. I should buy some him one. I dont like it didn't come with blue tooth either. MY dumb sister ordered a bundle off QVC with a dell printer. I"m saling it and getting dad a good one

262-4227 call if u need help. I hope i'm worth something in this world

you need a copy of xp (about $150.00 if you have to buy it)
put the cd in your cd / dvd drive follow the prompts given by your pc .
it will erase Vista and install XP
