Un plug the modem and the router if you have one
wait 1 min and plug them back in
wait 2 mins
Try to connect

Most common cause for this is Internet connection settings. (Probably changed by virus or spyware).

1. Go to "Control Panel and then "Internet Options"

2. Click on "connections Tab

3. Click on 'Lan Settings"

4. Make sure "Proxy Server" or "use automatic configuration script" ARE NOT checked.

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage----what do I do to connect to the internet when it says this? My router settings all say that I am connected, but when I try to get on the internet, I cannot connect to internet explorer- thanks for any help!!
