Why would you say something like that? I have a loving boyfriend and I have lots of friends. I took your post in the since that just because I'm a nerd I can't find true love or have deep friendships due to the social stereotype of a typical nerd. I am doing my best to break this stereotype to try to encourage people who may be insulted for being a nerd to show them that you don't have to be ashamed of that title.

What I said was that you're going to die alone...not that I have a problem with nerds...
I meant 'dude' in the CA sense, a generic term for 'person'. But literally - I'm a dude, so we're plug-n-play compatible!

I am proud to say I have a wonderful boyfriend who shares my love of Star Wars! We are both in the 501st Star Wars costuming group who has over 5000 members all around the world. Before I accepted the fact I was a nerd I didn't have any friends. Now I have tons! I have had the privalage to meet many celebirites and even have dinner with a few actors. There are much more of us than you think! Just go to Dragon Con if you ever doubt my words. Nerds and geeks are some of the best people in the world! They know how to have a good time and are very nice people!
NERDS RULE!

i like computers, obscure japanese hardcore music, typical video games, occasional world of warcraft but mostly right now the iphone game center. really big on portable technology and any kind of music production equipment. oh and i love sponge bob. and grunge music. i also play guitar worse than anyone you know.

And Viper, nice to meet you! I like DBZ too, Sayin Saga was always my favorite. Always nice to meet a fellow Star Wars fan too. Have a favorite film? Have you ever been to Animazement? Last year there was lots of Bleach stuff there.

If you are a nerd, geek, or gamer I want to say hello! If you love comics, movies, video games, costuming, conventions, RPGs, MMOs, sci-fi Chanel, and/or anime shout it out! Please introduce yourself!
I'm Hope, but you can call me Slayer or soon TB-9819. I'm a nerd and proud of it! I'm the founder of the Wilkes Library Con and I love Star Wars. I'm a proud member of the 501st Star Wars costuming group who visit children's hospitals and help raise money for children's charities. I also am a big anime fan, I guess Sailor Moon is my favorite. On rare occasions you may see me in a Sailor Moon costume. I will gladly admit that I'm a huge fan of spiderman and yes, that is a Pokewalker attached to my belt! I'm not stranger to the convention circuit, my favs being Heroes Con in Charlotte NC and Dragon Con in Atlanta GA. My favorite book is "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy". My favorite video game is "Dance, Dance Revolution." In short, I may be a nerd, but I'm fun!
