Here is a good source to determine your location and stations you might get. Location and your terrain will determine if an antenna is even feasible. Click on this link, ensure you include your street address to get more of an accurate report. http://www.antennaweb.org/Address.aspx

I hope you followed my guide for the removal of the old drivers if any were present. Overlaying new drivers on top of old drivers will degrade performance and cause instability issues.
I'm glad you got it working, good job!

If that does not work, then let's completely wipe out your vid card drivers and start from scratch.
Please follow the guide that is located here --> https://forums.geforce.com/...properly-/
once you have done all of that, see if windows can recognize your other monitor without having to re-install the new vid card drivers.

Try a different HDMI Port on the TV (IF THERE IS ONE) or try a different HDMI Cable.
For more troubleshooting, you can try to hook another monitor up that has an HDMI port, if it works then you know your video card is OK.
You also might try what Cris said and and look for a driver update - considering the model you gave on the video card, I am assuming you computer is an HP, if so, go to their website, as it is probably the best to use HP's propritary driver, vs a updated one from NVIDIA.

horsecrazy, for Vista please try this.
1. Plug in the HDMI Cable and set the TV for the HDMI Input.
2. Reboot the PC
3. Right click on a blank space on your desktop and left click personalize (at the bottom)
4. Left Click on "display settings" (at the bottom of the list).
5. On this menu you will have the option to select your monitor preferences.
6. If you only see one monitor or the 2nd is greyed out, then you either have a bad HDMI connection or as Chris said, you have a bad video card.
If it works and you have no sound. On the bottom right, click on your speaker icon and select "HDMI Device" as the default,.

If that doesn't work, you may need to update your video card drivers. In order for us to help you with that, we'll need some information about your computer. If the below doesn't work, then please click the start button and in the search box type mmc devmgmt.msc and press enter. The device manager will open, go to display adapters and tell us what it says. That will help us find the correct drivers for your video card.

They didn't introduce the win + p until Windows 7. Just right click the desktop and choose personalize-display settings and then change it to extend, clone, or tv only and see what happens.

yes, and let's go through 4 different steps compared to 1 step that was already provided. I understand giving the user help, but when it's already been given, and you think providing them help a "different way", but it's technically the same way already mentioned is not needed. Since the user has HDMI input on the laptop, that indicates it's a newer model laptop which would have a newer OS on it. Even if it was Vista, it's still the same way but instead its Personalize and not Resolution. And also FWIW, the user is a she not a he...

Chris, right click on desktop, click on properties, click on display, and you will see "change display settings" which will bring you to the same screen as "resolution" so both display settings and screen resolution are the same screen. Not knowing what operating system he is using, I indicated it under display settings. Windows 8 and seven offer "screen resolution" on right click on desktop, Vista does not.,.. Also, I am here to help someone who is asking a question, not to get in a urinating contest with you.
