Depends on how high quality your MP3's are. :)

Audio Cd = 70 minutes (or 80 if you have an 80 minute CD). MP3's = 700 MB, or about or about 150 128kb songs (average of 4.5mb each at that bit rate)

So it's more like 10x the amount of songs on an mp3 CD vs an audio Cd.

Windows Media Player will play MP3s and you'll also be able to burn them to a CD. Depending on what type of CD player you have in your car, you may have to burn the MP3's as an "audio disk". If your CD player can read MP3 disks, you can just burn them as files (which means you fit about 3 times more songs on one disc).

I dont' have a MP3 Player....I just want music downloaded to my media player so I can make my daughter a cd to listen to in the car

I use mp3 rocket. Never had a virus or problem out of it.

I am looking for a free website where I can download different songs onto my windows media player and burn them to a cd for me and my daughter to listen to in the car! I Used to have it on my old computer but not on this lap top! Please any suggestions is appreciated! :)
