It was "Processing" the entire time. I cancelled after a few minutes and shut my iPad down. When I brought it back up, it was doing the same.
I use the "Remember Me" option. That was the first time I disappeared without logging out. Which, again, is no biggie. Just thought it might be related.

63, that sounds like the incompatibility problem with Firefox. It should have been fixed as of around 10am this morning, so if you see it again then please let me know.

My laptop would change to Processing when I clicked the ADD REPLY and stay there for awhile. When I clicked on anything on GW diffrent and several links would pop up in the status bar. Too many and too fast to read.

Good to know Since you haven't seen any problems at all, can you tell me which version of Firefox you're using? Candystripe (view profile) | Posted 11:25 pm, 08/13/2014 | I swear you people and your PCs - get a Mac and get rid of your problems : ) |
Or you can install Linux, which is not much different from Mac, but free

Just to clarify, are you saying that it hung for awhile, THEN switched to "Processing"? Or it showed "Processing", then hung?
And do you mean that you were seeing links show up while it was running? If so, are we talking one link, or a bunch? If it was showing a bunch, that's similar to the incompatibility I was having with Firefox, but glitter is on an iPhone. They could have had the same bug, though; especially if the problem stopped as of early this morning.

1. Did the "Add Reply" button change to say "Processing", and then hang? Or did it sit for 20 minutes, then switch to "Processing" and go through quickly after that?
2. During those 20 minutes, did it look like anything else was running? Meaning, did you see any links in the status bar (usually at the bottom of the browser)
These were the issues I was having.

This is probably too much to remember, but when it took 20 minutes to go through:
1. Did the "Add Reply" button change to say "Processing", and then hang? Or did it sit for 20 minutes, then switch to "Processing" and go through quickly after that?
2. During those 20 minutes, did it look like anything else was running? Meaning, did you see any links in the status bar (usually at the bottom of the browser, but I'm not sure about iPad)? Was the cursor changed to an hourglass or anything to indicate that the page was doing something?
3. Did it eventually go through on its own, or did you refresh or click something to make it go through?
As for being logged out, on our end we just set a "cookie" when you log in. If you log in through the "Log In" page, you can select "Remember Me", and then we set an expiration date of 1 year, but not all browsers recognize that (mobile always has a problem with it).
If you don't select "Remember Me", then it automatically deletes the cookie to log you out when you close the browser.
If you were logged out, then for whatever reason, that cookie was deleted. It could be that the browser just stopped recognizing it, or it might have expired. Or, you might have logged in without clicking "Remember Me". Or, there could have been a 3rd party program that deleted it without your knowledge.

It's happened before, but the wait wasn't as long.
Also, I had closed my iPad, on another occasion, and when I returned, I was completely logged out which wasn't an issue on my part but thought it might be related. Pretty certain it was the same night.

Glitter, was it just the one time, or has it done it a few times? I'm not aware of any incompatibilities with Safari, but it's too much of a coincidence to think that it's not related; especially if it's happened more than once.
If it's happened more than once (or especially today) then I'll need to do some digging to find out if there's a new issue with Safari that I've missed.

If BYT and I both use Embarq, guess it was their problem.
