I believe Vista supports expanding a partition on one drive by using space on another - check the drive manager.

Sometimes if you do videos and make dvd it will leave a lot of info on it mine was in . Look a whats on your D drive what files are there. All you have to do is drag and drop open C and D make one window smaller and drag it to the other or right click on the file and it will say moved or send to. Mine was in documents i just deleted the files that was used to make moives.

you will need to remount the set the drive letter tat you want to to be set as the active partition, and also save all information first on a decent size memory stick, its a lil complicated to do this but possible, sounds like your files were being saved on the wrong drive letter and it got full

i have Vista as an operating system as well
my "C" drive (Hard Drive)also has plenty of space available
my "D" drive seldom gets full , when it does i just put a new blank dvd or cd in it.. after all its a DVD-RW drive.

Purchase a new larger hard drive and clone your old one to the new one. The new hard drive usually comes with cloning software or you can download it from the manufacturer's website.

My computer keeps telling me my D drive is full. I have tried to clean it up but nothing has worked. How do you move it to the C drive or clean it up.

Thank you for your help.
