Many digitals have great batt life, no matter what mode you're in. My digital gets amost 2hrs of record time with a lithium battery and a 2GB mem stick.

It also drains your battery, and takes up uber space on your memory stick. Dont purchase a camera based on this one feature.

It records video and most will record audio, making it a movie.
