take out the hard drive and drill several holes through it.

Destroy it will not remove the files unless you plan to melt it down and that would take around 3800 degrees F. The files can still be recovered. New hard drives now come with Secure erase. If you Don't know how to use it then you can use ccleaner to wipe over a file up to 30 times making it only recoverable by people with a lot of money and equipment.

If you're worried about an investigation you should know that all sectors in your hard drive maintain the files until overwritten. even if you reformat your hard drive the files can still be recovered fairly quickly. Only real solution....destroy it

definately gotta get software that is made specifically made to do that. just deleting only makes it so your puter wont access them any more

To uninstall a program and it never be found again would be a cool little program called Revro Uninstaller.

another good way to do it is to restore your pc to factory specs or reformat your hard drive
