Well, I did what you said Jason and they disappear but when I go out of that part of the site and go back to CV then go back to my pm's - they are still there. I really thought I went back to 6.5 from 7.0. I guess I will just have these darn things for the rest of my life.

This is a bug, not a feature, so don't blame me if it's not working! :D
After you move the PMs to the deleted folder, go to the deleted folder, then check them off again, and in the drop down menu select the Deleted folder, then click the Move button.
If they're still there, you're probably using Internet Explorer 7.0, which is buggy to say the least. They're probably gone, but your browser is showing that they're there from the computers cache.

Ok - I deleted my inbox pm's - then I went into deleted - clicked the ones I want to delete - then I clicked move - then I hit delete. They showed back up on my inbox. What am I doing wrong?

I have done as BRG suggested for some time now and they are GONE from my box...I dunno why thats not working for ya Spanky...hmmm

I believe I read once that Jason posts PMs deleted in this manner on the Book Club section. I must say they're good reading late at night.

Or, you can create a new folder, move the items into it, and then delete the new folder

When you have a pm and you delete it , it goes to the deleted items folder how do you remove it from there like it never happened?
