you are probably just burning it as a data cd instead of a music cd
the windows media center in vista sucks a** . its been awhile but i don't think it will let you make a duplicate of copyrighted material.
try using ...burn4free or nero or ?? or anything else

Hey all out there,

I have a laptop that has windows vista, I have a desktop that is running XP, I cannot for the life of me get my laptop to copy or burn songs. They show up on the cd on vista but when I take it to play in the car it want read it, I can do the samething on XP and they work. What do you suppose the problem is?
I am very computer savy but this Laptop just doesn't work the same!
