Before removing Vista check to be sure that all your computers drivers are available for XP
Xp will not have a driver for some of the newer devices.

I can do it. But give Vista a chance it is getting better. If you want xp just PM me

yes ... you can take vista off of a computer and install xp. if the xp disk came with your computer that has vista on it or you bought a new copy of xp it should be no problem.
but if your xp disk came with a different model or brand of computer its very unlikely that it will work on the one with vista on it.

to swap / restore an os insert the os disk in your cd/dvd drive ...close the cd/dvd drive
restart the computer follow the prompt's a few click's and a little time is all it take's
