the 1&2 are used to select which monitor your using if you can use 2
i use 1 as my desktop monitor and 2 if i want to run it thru my tv
but my pc is a desk top w/ a aftermarket video card with multiple video out options
....
... the b94 .. all i could find about it suggested it might involve wireless broadband .

.. maybe a connection to plug in a dongle ? i'm not sure

The control panel monitor setting has two rectangle boxes. Number one is bigger and number two is small. If you click on two it gets bigger. There are only usb ports and one small that says b94. I guess it would be harder than I know how to do. LOL!

1st question .. maybe .. yes .. no .
no easy answer depend on what kind of video and audio out puts your pc has (if any) you have to export both and change your monitor setting in the control panel it could be as cheap as $10.00 and as expensive as $100.00 +... and you might spend the $ and accomplish nothing( its kind of a lot of trouble IMO)
....
2nd http://www.goodells.net/del... it basically lets you put in a dvd or cd and play it with out booting the operating system

I have a Dell Inspirion e1505. Can I hook it up to our DVR cable box and watch a show from the laptop on the tv? The DVR box has the red, white and yellow output on the front. I also have a tv that has those on the front so I could hook directly to that. What would I need to buy to do this?

There is a button on the laptop that says media direct. what does that do?
