Thinking about getting a wireless laptop. If I get wireless, do I need to buy anything else to get on internet?

PCMCIA or Express card, I have tried one from Carolina West. They are good if you have the extra money and need to use the internet while on the road. Do not use one as your main internet connection at home because they are to slow. There is also the wireless cards for connecting to you home network and they work very well for people that do not already have wireless on their notebook.

How many people uses the connect cards with your laptops connect to internet? Ones that you plug on the side of the laptop!! How good are they and do you have to pay so much a month for it? Sorry, if the connect cards are not the right name for it.
