it could also just be that you need to replace your power supply, sounds like if its rebooting itself than its not getting enough power ... fades in and out.... I'd start there

you may need to change the bios battery they crash alot when they get low on juice then they eventually wont boot up at all. simple fix unplug all power take side panel off find coin battery about the size of a nickel ( pay attention to which way its in) on mother board it just snaps in place. take it out go to radio shack get a new one ( $3-$4) put it in close it up plug it in you should be good to go

meh, this computer is getting pretty old, id say about 6 years old. i plan on getting another as soon as i can afford it

Try a different version oof the driver for your video card. check the chip manufacturer (intel, nvidia, or ATI) to see if there is a newer one available. If not, try an older one.

well, it does this even when im not playing games, but it doesnt do it nearly as fast, and im pretty sure its not over working it, because the game doesnt have very high graphics, and runs smoothly for the few minutes that i can play it.

it could be a software glitch , not enough ram, over working your graphic's set/card or over working your cpu ( running a game that your pc can't handle)

Ok, i am having a problem with my computer, while i am playing games on it, the computer screen will go black, and then the computer will reboot, this happens about 5-10 minutes into playing the game.
i am running windows XP home. and the computer is a comaq
