agree with easyrider. I had DSL on Windows 98 for 3 or 4 years. Good luck.

You should be able to do a system restore and if will restore your computer to the way it was new. back to 98 windows. Windows XP is a huge program and may be to much for your computer.
As far as DSL. You are not installing something right.

I went from dial up to DSL but it wouldn't work. So, I had a man to work on it. He took my windows98 off my computer and put windowXP on it. It worked for a while, but now ( I guess ) Microsoft is freaking out. It keep telling me that I need to buy a genuine windows. How do I take the XP off and put my 98 back on.

And does anyone have any ideas why DSL wouldn't work with my Windows98 Before?
