This link will show what a real 404 error is ... sounds something may have hijacked your browser or email client references ... malware is likely the culprit. Try just typing the Gmail URL directly into your browser window and see what happens.

Delete cookies is safe. It sounds like you have some Malware or Spyware. Go to http://www.eset.com/onlinescan/ and follow the directions. I like Eset so well I purchased it!

Download http://www.lavasoft.com/pro...e_free.php install it and run it and it will clean it up for you hopefully. My boy friend installed it on my computer and it sure made a difference let me tell you!

You can delete cookies and history safely but sometimes that isn't enough..

I can not access my mail on Google....in the address bar it says something about checking "cookies" and pulls up page....ERROR FOUND ON PAGE 404....can someone help me with this....I am afraid to delete the "cookies"....might crash my pc....HELP PLEASE....THANK U
