Computer fix. Need an on button.

better yet pull the 2 wire sets marked "Pwr" and "RST" from the Main Board then hook up the "RST" where you removed "PWR" from, then use the reset button to turn the machine on

Wouldnt it be safer to pull the two wires from the switch side, and touch them together on that side? On the motherboard side, you're talking 16-24 pins or so that are VERY close together, and will have many other small wires running everywhere.
BTW, DONT wire the the two ends together - just touch them long enough for the fans to kick on...

a quick and simple fix... pull the two wires out leading to the power button on the case, you should see two pins, connect the two pins by using a screwdriver - if you're worried, ground yourself and use an insulated screwdriver.

could you be more specific, please? ... type of confuser, how the button looks/acts now, how it got damaged? Pictures (can be attached and PM'd)?
There are two very small wires that just have to touch momentarily in order to start the machine ... the button is typically a part of the case .... possibly it can be fixed as a replacement button might be hard to find.
