The same thing happened to me and no they say they can't get the emails back. The idiots told me if it was something important that I wanted saved to get a yahoo email account and save the emails to it. I still can't believe they told me that.

wouldn't surprize me i got them to cut my internet off once they stopped billing me for it but forgot to cut it off
it was 18 months before they actually turned it off. i didn't complain

I think I know what happened now. Charter deleted my email box.

i have a charter acct . i never (very seldom)open it directly .i open it with outlook . the e-mails are saved in outlook but not on charter so when i open it thru charter its empty

i have an email account with charter that i don't check often. i hadn't checked it in awhile and when i tried to log in, it kept saying wrong password. finally it let me in but it was like a new account. all my emails were gone. does it do that if you don't check it for a few months? do they cancel your account. it had only been like two months. is there any way to get back those emails. i think it is some kind of fluke becuase the funny thing is that anytime i got a myspce comment it would send it to that email address. now i am still getting the comments without telling myspace so i know it is the same exact account. sorry for being confusing.
