i have charter. back in the winter, my internet would drop out been it got really cold at night. this was happening due to "overdrive" in the cable lines. sounds to me as if you have a dead short in the line outside somewhere? i think i'd be having a talk with the next in command at centurylink

It was normal for my phone to mess up every time the ground got too wet. I had to install a ground rod like 20 or so feet in to the round

OK here's the deal. everytime it rains my DSL service goes on the blink, today wasn't even raining ,just cloudy and it goes out again,called in lady says it's "normal" for DSL to not work when it rains?LOL,so I ask should I get a credit on my bill whenever it rains because this is "normal"...of course she says no..LOL,big surprise..just wondering if anyone else has this problem?...that's all,since she says it's NORMAL,oh yea..the phone lines here are BURIED and phone works just fine
