It could be in the cd port thangy on the hard drive. Ours is doing this also and that is what they told us was wrong up at staples. They have the new watchamacallit thingy there and it's not to expensive and you can change it yourself.

Or you could thy Roxio. We use it and we love it! No problems with it.

Try burning your CDs using I Tunes. Its simple and shouldnt give any problems.

Are you sure the cd is blank?

when i go on windows media player to burn cd disk comes out and says insert cd everytime i try to burn one it says this can anyone help me?
