Your ethernet card could be bad. Have you tried rebooting the modem and router? Something else you could try is running a winsock fix.

Ok, my computer will not connect to the internect or aol but i can go in to the control panel where it says internect conection , and it says iam online, i have cable modem, but like my weather bug and and other online stuff useually connect when windows first starts but its not even connected. iam useing my wifes computer , and hers works great, internet exployer weather bug all her stuff is working fine, but mine does nothing, please help, thanks
