I'm very glad. Streaming Netflix movies are WAY cool! Lots of good content.

My observation is that anything marked "Starz Play" is poorly encoded, with major motion artifacts. But lots of stuff looks shockingly good for internet video!

Pandora is VERY cool if your player supports it.

Enjoy!

Trista, go to LG's website and download the manual for the model of your BDP. It will help you through the network setup so that the BDP will connect to the internet.

Can you get a wire from the BDP to where your modem is located? If so, the guy at WalMart is correct. You need a network switch. But what it seems he screwed up on is that a router is a smart switch. Unless you have more than 3 devices already plugged into your router, you dont need a separate switch.

the numbers RG mentioned may be in the set up menu of the BR player

You'll need a routher, as pointed-out. Depending on the Blu-Ray player, for the "BD-Live" online content you may also need either a memory card (SD usually), or USB flash drive of at least a couple of gigabytes to enable "caching" of online content. Most players don't have the memory needed to do this built-in.

To get your Blu-Ray player to stream online Netflix content, you'll need to enter some numbers for your player. They're probably on a sticker somewhere on the player, but sadly it may be contained in the missing manual.

Depends on the Blue ray being internet compatible. you should need a cat 5 cable hook it to your router then its all in the players web OS set up.
Owners manual is a good place to start
