I agree with everything these guys said and please have your internet service checked as well. Make sure you have Docsis 3.0 modem and router and check to see if you are losing any packets. Any good computer tech can check if they come out. You may want to hook wired from your game system to your modem to make sure its not a router issue.

Hi,
MillerBr55,
You may need a comprehensive tuneup. Do you think you may be infected. What year did your purchase or what year was your computer built? Could you do us a favor and take a screenshot of your system specs. I can probably get Wow running very smooth for you with a remote in Service. Please contact me @ 1-828-528-1644. I guarantee outstanding customer service and low rates for quality service.

you really need to make sure to port forward on the router.
What are your PC specs? make model ram Os Wifi card ?
Also I would consider plug in a Ethernet cable instead of wifi. A lot of the pci cards and usb dongles work but are really junk.
I bought a 30 foot patch cable at goodwill for 2 bucks

Thanks Chris. . I just downloaded the game booster, it made the log in faster, but I am still not able to run or fight without a lag, so I just started the clean up . . I will let it run and try again. . Thanks again :)

If you need any help with anything, please don't hesitate to let me know, and I'll be more than happy to help you. Also download ccleaner from http://www.piriform.com/pro...4AodSnbM1w . Remove all trash from the computer because yeah it's nice to be able to have the pages load faster because there in your swap file, but at the same time it will slow down your computer. Also the more people that's on your wifi, the slower the connection will be on it if you don't have a high enough plan to support multiple connections. Also go into task manager and close down all the unnecessary programs that's running on the computer before you play the game. Because I can guarantee you that all the running programs on the computer your not going to be using them while playing WOW.

I would make sure that all of your ports are forwarded on your router.
Refer to http://www.portforward.com for instructions on how to forward your ports for your router. Also download game booster. It's a free program that will boost your computer by shutting down unncessarry programs and visuals that could slow down the computer and connection.

Hey guys, I have been having terrible lag playing WOW on my desktop (was using laptop )It's so bad that if I am attacked I die, because the reaction is slow. the Desk top is a newer computer, everything else runs quick, and we have WiFi. What would you do before having a professional look at it? I know it shouldn't be my internet connection, my laptop could run it fine. I have also removed most of my unnecessary programs. . Thanks in advance for any help :(
