Yeah, me too Mtn. Sadly, it's the little things in life that drive us crazy...and they're usually simple fixes if we'd just take the time to actually do them.

I want a computer that I can just give it voice commands and it will fix itself.

whitehawk, I tried Chrome and it just annoyed me so I went back to what I had. Therefore, I'm no help in that department!

I open GW in a separate tab always. I can go to the main tab to check spelling, etc. I copy frequently that which I am typing if it is long or ***bersome or has a lot of numerical data.

The only problem I am now having is occasionally, everything turns yellow. I believe this is my computer and not GW as it also happens when I am using Chrome.

Moving there's probably a really simple adjustment for touchpad settings ... I find that as computers become more and more disposable and the more I have in my life the LESS willing I am to take the time to really "learn" them.

I've lost many longgg posts because I accidently double tapped.

Then I wised up and starting doing the copy thing ever so often, but, yes it is more sensitive. Jason said the new layout was 4x faster...maybe we just need our timing belt adjusted??!!

This touchpad and I have never been friends. It's not a problem to plug in the wireless mouse, laziness mostly. I have wondered if I was imagining things thinking it was more a touch thing (phone but especially laptop) so now I feel like I'm not delusional. On this one thing anyhow.

Same problem Mtn. For some reason it's happening more since the new layout. Seems like the touchpad is more sensitive. I too do the copy thing to be on the safe side. Thought it was just me!

That has happened to me several times. I just thought that it was because I went to add the reply. Iit would give me some message so to solve the problem, I have started to copy my messages in case it happens, I won't have to re-type it again, I just paste it!

I or my computer has a tendency to makes text disappear just when I've spent enough time on it to make it REALLY frustrating. Suggestions?

This happens in PMs and CV replies/posts both. Basically anywhere there's a text windown. It's most prone to happen on a laptop but I think that's just coincidence cause I'm most guilty of lazy fingers there, more so than on a regular keyboard or the phone.
