Audio on laptop

If you did a re-Install or a restore then you may have to reinstall the drivers for your laptop. Go to the website of whoever makes you laptop. Look under support and then look for downloads or drivers. You should find audio drivers there under your model number. There may be several as some may be updates. IF you aren't sure which one then download them all. Restart your computer after you are done. One way to know if it is a driver problem is to look for the little speaker icon in the bottom right corner next to your clock. No icon, no driver.

control panel ... sound... sound tab make sure you have a sound scheme selected . then there is a speaker icon on the tool bar at the bottom right of your screen (actually you can do the other from there as well) right click the speaker icon... open volume control make sure its not muted and adjust your volume

I started having problems on my laptop and I had to re-install Windows Vista (which I like) but now I don't have any audio. How do I cut the audio on. I can't find where to go to turn it on. Can anyone help? Thanks.
