Can you hear sound, eaither from CD or Windows program, if you can your driver is ok and the diag. is the problem. If you cannot hear sound go to dell.com and enter the machine id (sticker on back of computer) and you can download driver from dell

Dell should have sent a drivers CD with your computer. It will be on it. If you can't get it going, call Express Computer Clinic and ask for Steve....I will get you going! Open Saturday 8am to 1pm

I have a dell computer. I run a program called creative diagnostic agent.. It comes up and says I have a hardware problem. Then when I try to fix the problem it says to reinstall audio card software. I don't know much about computers please tell me what kind of disk to look to reinstall audo card software. Please help I cannot afford a big bill. Computer was bought in 2002. Thank you
