i'e had better luck and have used less harddrive space by chunking both mcafee (the worst at this) and norton. go to microsoft.com and download the CA EZ antivirus. this is a beta version and have have no troubles for about seven months. i use this on my teens laptop as well as my desktop(gotta-be- bullet-proof). it improves bootup time remarkably!!!!!!!!!
the others will put you to sleep...

I just tried installing mcaffeee virus scan, via AOL. It tells me that it has found a virus, namely Alemod virus.....located in win32/alemod.f.dll..........in the system 32 file. When i tell it to quarantine, it says it is in the wininet.dll file and cannot be removed. Is this dll file important.....the wininet.dll file
