Defense isn't very good. no Doubt...Offence is hurting , one of the best players RB/DB may be done for season after injury last game .. . But its hard to Blame it on Coaching IMO. Is there even a contributing Starter on defense from last Season?? Once again Conference is very week they could get better...

Nope not even with Bill or JK. Have you seen their defense. Its possibly one of the worse i've saw at EW...and I 've saw some pretty bad ones. My take on conference order of finish. 1. Ashe 2. Starmount 3. Elkin 4. WC 5. NW 6. Alleghany 7. EW 8.WW....

The Cardinals are very banged up right now. They just need to get healthy if possible and continue to grind.. This group of kids are not Deep at all. A ton of kids playing positions they have never played before.. honestly a 5-6 game winning season would be Unbelievable..... No mater if Bill Belichick was coaching them..

True indeed Mich66. They look like the EW before JK Adkins was there. Very Uninspired defensively. Very hard to watch. Unless EW scores 50 pts a game..then there will no not be any wins coming their way. Their defense is such a liability.

EW is terrible. WC has no numbers or depth. Both will face 1st rd lopsided early 1st round exit losses on the road in the playoffs.

I most certainly was at the game. EW got handled up front. No excuses. They got ran thru and ran over at Alleghany that night. Alleghany staff had those guys better prepared. Truth be told EW needs to go back to the option. They do no have the athletes for the spread.

My jaws has been busy on your mom for at least 2 of the 3 last years. After all she's the one that gave me this terrible nickname. Yes Alleghany will get spanked playing Murph, and it will be a long ride back. I also believe Murphy also playing in the little 1 a would spank about every other team in con., and yes Ashe coach will most likely get c.o.y. for doing what Ashe should of been doing for many years. The thing is that anyone who knows football knows who did the best coaching with the little 1a team .

Lol. Likitis. EW has owned Alleghany. But they're still playing and they beat us. I didn't see that one coming, but they dominated East this year.

BTW East Wilkes wasn't a disappointment at all , They lost 98% of there offensive output to graduation , Had to learn an entire new Offence and defense with a new coach and won 7 games . ,, How could you ask for anything more from those kids .. This was an exceptional year!! P.S. Conference Champs Always get COY in MVAC Sorry!!

I concur. EW was super disappointing tonight. Fan support was downright pathetic. No band to support the team. The team played as if they were glad the season was coming to an end. Pretty much like they do every year around the 7th or 8th game of the season. Kids on the sidelines spend more time looking and talking to the people in the stands or dancing and not caring at all whether they play or not.
