But notice how now one else comes on here when they kill you guys. We just expect to. It's nothing new. But congrats. EW got outcoached and outplayed. Stuff happens.

Can you hear the “OVERRATED” chants from Sparta in Ronda?

Told Cats that Ashe may be the team to beat this year. Im sure WC will bounce back. It is about time that someone steps up. WC has dominated the conference. EW has been in the mix amd are actually overachieving. They have found ways to win games as they come together. Last night.., Hats off the Alleghany. They had the far better game plan and executed it better than EW.

He's right. Mustard u r a jack ***. Wilkes County boyz keep working hard, Football is physical and injuries plague all levels. WC and EW shake it off and fight back. Hats off to Ashe County and the refs (both MVP's) last night. Heck the refs dominated the game throughout. Oh yeah Mustard u r a jack***!!! Maybe u should join a volleyball chat or something.

Colonel Mustard how about you go crawl under a rock and live in the dark world that you seem to live in. These are high school kids that come out and practice every single day (and not out on the streets selling drugs) and Coaches that give their time away from their families to mold our kids. Very rarely do kids from the Mountain Valley Conference move on to much greener pastures. It's evident that your team isn't up on top, but why bash the entire Conference? This world has entirely too much negativity and you must live a miserable life! Kudos to the ones on here who back their team no matter where they rank in conference standings.

I see that applications are being taken for the head chef at McDonald's..the MVAC is not anywhere close to being a legitimate threat teamwise to winning a 2a state championship. I'm not sure on the 1A schools but it seems to me the conference as a whole is lacking ..now many of you will blame the coaches for the teams not making a mark or run in the state playoffs..it has been that way for years..it is time for reality to set in and a few Friday night field trips to be taken in order to fully see what you are all up against...better players.a real middle school feeder program a d less Daddy Ball..

After watching Central's loss last night to Elkin, why was the Combs kid not playing until the second half last night. Miss practice or discipline?? Plus another question is the Pack kid, why does he not touch the ball on offense? Watched him against Watauga and he runs strong. Looked great returning the ball but no offensive plays that I remember. To me that's a waste of talent.

Ashe may be the team to beat..and N.wilkes pass defense..seems like it couldn't hold up at all. Crazy how they looked like world beaters against the non conference teams..and had me drinkin the kool aid..

At least Central lost in a thriller.. still trying to figure out how in the world North Wilkes could give up 60 points and almost 600 yards of offense. I knew Ashe would throttle them but dang.

I feel ya on that Curls...Maybe they caught yall cats lookin past them..Cuz i sure felt you guys would blow them out..I like this conference this year...on any given night..if coaches dont coach and players dont play..then its a wrap.

That’s true. Congrats to the Elks. But my point is a 2aa school has no business losing to a small 1a school under most circumstances.

topflight7784

Posted 9:29 am, 10/06/2018

JerryCurls..we cool..but instead of bashing the coaches...ya need to congratulate The Elks on a BIG WIN..WC has had a stellar record in conference since well a while..So def congrats on that. WC is tough to beat for any MVAC school.

You said coaching..i said mediocre 2a football...has nothing to do with coaching..but more about tradition...You wasnt hollerin you needed new coaches..when you were babblin about how easy you guys should win the conference..I had mentioned in an earlier post that the conference may be Ashe's to lose. WC is still solid for here..but mediocre for 2a..no reading comprehension needed for that true statement.

JerryCurls79

That’s my point topflight. Do you know what reading comprehension is?
