Height alone doesn't make u good down in the post. UNC is far superior in talent down low than Duke is and that will give them alot of problems when they meet. And BTW i'm not a UNC fan, unfortunately i'm a State guy

Duke has just as much height as unc this year, the game between them could go either way. unc is bigger than Syracuse and look what happened..

Duke was exposed down low. They're going to have a really hard time with Carolina b/c they won't be able to handle all the bigs for UNC.

Look at his turnover margin, and he usually averages somewhere in the 10 to 20 points every game! He came in as a number 2 guard and I think he has done very well at being the point guard! And a mama's boy? Did you not see him dive into the stands for the ball last night? Geeze I understand you being a unc fan but don't make statements like that which aren't true!! You say beyond Dawkins you wouldn't take anybody else from Duke.. LMAO lets see Singler will be the ACC player of the year and 1 of the nation's top players, not to mention he is prolly 1 of the toughest players on the court of any team including unc!! He was a hockey player and if he didn't play for Duke I would still say he is gonna be a good college palyer and great when he gets in the NBA!!

Wisconsin has been a difficult team to beat at home, but Duke just played very poorly. If Duke is missing from outside, they really don't have anything else going for them if they run up against a team with some size. Singler wants the ball, and it's good to have a scorer that wants to score, but I think he sometimes does it at the expense of the team. Scheyer will have an occasional great game, but he is the most inconsistent player Duke has had the past couple years. He seems to be a bit of a "mama's boy". K's scheme has been built on defense and perimeter shooting; they haven't proven they can do either this year. The great teams will have to have inside and outside games to succeed in college right now against good competition. I was worried that UNC was weak from the perimeter, but I think the young guys will be able to hit enough to open things up inside for their dominating size and athletic big men. Both teams will stumble along the way with young guys, but I'll take UNC's talent over Duke's any day. Beyond Dawkins, I don't care for anyone else on that team.

I don't agree with that at all Yanks.. Wisconsin under the coach they have is a really hard team to beat at home, I believe he has only lost 10 home games out of over 100 I'm pretty sure its something like that.. They hit a lot of lucky shots and the only 2 players that showed up for Duke were Singler and Dawkins! Its like the rest of the team forgot they had a game. They are a top team and their inside game is very young because I don't count Zubeck, he is only good for 5 fouls. The Plumlee's will improve as the year goes on and will get more game time I hope because Zubeck sucks! I haven't seen Scheyer play that bad of a game in a long time. They just didn't give 100%effort like they have, but you can't expect them to win every game in the ACC Big Ten challenge!! They are now 10-1 by far the best record of any team in the challenge!

I agree with Yanks, Dawkins needs to be on the court. You have to question K's utilization of his players in recent years. I also believe that Duke's lack of quality post players will kill them as the season progresses. Their usual suspects will once again peter out at the end of the year. Last year the young guys helped them to survive and advance during the ACC tournament and the end of the year, after K had kept them seated on the bench most of the year. Now he lost that player who would have put them in a better position this year. Roy Williams rotates a bunch of lineups early in the year, but the young guys will know their roles better and are getting playing time. He also plays the guys he needs to when it counts. K will wear his upperclassmen down until he needs to play untested bench players and it will kill them. The Duke team really hasn't impressed me at all on defense this year. I think Duke and UNC were ranked too highly preseason, but it looks like UNC will be there at the end of the year. Duke most likely will not. The ACC as a whole appears to be very weak this year. Clemson deserves to be thrown out for blowing a 23 point lead at home to Illinois.

I give it to Wisconsin, they did play good ball last night. But you know you have beaten a good team when many runs out on the court like its no tomorrow.

They lost because they aren't a top team.
They shot 45% from the feild, 42% from 3, and 98% from the line and still couldnt get it done against a team that played its average game overall.
As l said before, Dawkins is a player to watch and proved that again tonight, and is the LONE reason they kept it close.
Give Dawkins the same playing time as John Wall and Dawkins puts up the better numbers.
Dukes best player only plays 20 mins a game,poor coaching.

Duke deserved to lose against Wisconsin!! Poor execution all the way around for Duke!! Wisconsin played all around better ball and gave 100% effort to Duke's 50.. I knew it would catch up to them sooner or later. Watch out for Dawkins though, I think coach K should play him alot more than he is. If it wasn't for him it wouldn't have been close!

I won't give up on Ginyard; I like him. Seeing the quickness and range of Strickland last night, though, makes me want to see him on the court more as the 2 guard with Drew on the court also. Heels will have to hit the freethrows much better as the season progresses. With their size, they will be on the line bunches again. Last night should have been, at worse, a 13-15 point spread at the end. Thompson seems to get bored when other players are getting fed the ball. When they need him in the crucial plays at the end of the game, he seems to be lost (out of the flow). He gets them going early, then disappears. If the guards (and even Henson and the twins) keep the ball going in from outside, Carolina will be tough on just about everybody this year. Next year>>>> teams will hate to play them. I see them better than last year's Champ team next year.
