You moron, how did coach K bail on them when he had back surgery? On that matter name how many losing seasons coach K has had as head coach at Duke? To answer your question, if Duke was to lose those players named I guarantee they wouldn't be last in the ACC and more than likely they would still be ranked in the top 25 and get in to the NCAA Tourney!! You wanna know why because he coaches unlike roy who just goes after big name H.S. ALL- AMERICANS who think they don't need any coaching!!

If Dook lost Singler,Smith,and Scheyer all after this year how good do you realisticaly think they'd be next year. Thats basically what happend with UNC. The expectations of them was way too high from the start. And to answer your other question, the last time Dook was last was back in the 94-95 season when K bailed on them when he saw how bad they was gonna suck with Cherokee Parks their top returning player. If you dont think he bailed on them then why would he petition the NCAA to have that season removed from his record.

I agree Yanks, but let me ask you these questions? Tell me the last time Duke was LAST in the ACC? Tell me the last time Duke wasn't ranked? And I don't ever recall Duke winning the National Championship one year and not even making the NCAA Tournament the next much less finishing last or next to last in the ACC? I wasn't the one on here saying Duke is gonna do this or Duke is gonna do that like you was with carowina! You have ate crow all season long, and now that the season is coming to an end you are hoping and praying Duke doesn't win the NCAA title this year, which if they play their best like they play at Home then they might have a chance. I'm not one to come on here and know everything like you but I would put my money on Syracuse this year, which by the way doesn't have a starter on their team that was ranked in the top 100 coming in from H.S. And that just goes to show you that it takes coaching alot of times to win something, roy on the other hand has had talent the past 4 years not counting this year that just knew how to play at the college level. roy had little to do with them winning the National Title 2 outta the last 5 years!! With Kentucky, you have a team that performed like they should and could have..a team that Normally plays with alot of passion but is young enough they make enough mistakes to lose a few ballgames that they should win, being the better team(See Tennessee's win over Kentucky, or SC)

With Carolina, you have a team with just as much talent as anyone, yet they play without any real leader and no passion, so yes they lose the games they should win by miles and dwell in the basement.

IF duke wins tha Acc and having beat Carolina this year is a BIG BIG win for them, while just winning the ACC and beating Duke is nothing to Carolina

This is not an excuse at all but you can't hardly compare the youth of UNC to the youth of Kentucky. Kentucky has a point guard in Walls that if not for the rules would have never even played a college game and Cousins is the same way. Kentucky was the projected #1 pick and the projected #4 pick with 2 of their freshmen so it's kinda hard to compare the freshmen on the 2 teams. So you can say alot of UNC's troubles is from losing their leader b/c if u took Walls and put him on UNC this would be a totally different team.

Yanks I think if I was you I would keep my mouth shut, after all you did say carowina would just keep getting better this year and they have done the exact opposite. What makes you think they will win another title in the next 5 years and with all the McDonalds All-Americans this year on their team they are 14-14 and losers of their last 7-8 and 10-12? Not to mention DEAD LAST in the ACC!!!!
