Walmart doesn't sell the good high dollar Duke merchandise they only sell the cheap unc, app state stuff.

What kills me is "Walmart" fans the ones who buy there gear from walmart and know nothing about the school they are pulling for. Nothing wrong with buying the gear from there I do it. They are the first ones to come to you after there team wins and rubs it in, but when their team loses they typically have nothing to say or they didn't watch it. The youth i work with at Church most pull for UNC. When i ask them to name five football players when it was football season (we were discussing the football game) they couldn't name two. I told them i could name at least 35 on a bad day.

If you are going to pull for a team and talk any junk at all please know the team you are pulling for, please be able to name the starting five if you can't don't even bother saying anything at all. I bet I can name more UNC players than most of these "Walmart" fans can.

Wow i haven't heard that one in a while... very original. I just wish my pack could get back to being UNC's rival. Most don't even consider NCSU their rival. I know it will take time and I will never jump ship!

I don't think Lawson should come back until such time as he is 100%. The only thing that matters now is getting all the ducks in order for March 8th and beyond.

So do ya'll think Lawson will finally play Saturday? Unfortunately i think this could be one of the best things to happen to UNC. I think QT is one of those players whose confidence has to be high to perform. He has done an outstanding job and will be able to give Lawson breaks and the team knows they can trust him if they need him late in the game. I hate to give any credit to UNC but QT has gained a lot of respect from me for the heart he has played with. I just wish one of our PG would play with a little heart.

Various people have "co-hosted" before on a one and done basis. I simply listed people who make regular appearances; in fact Gminski was voted best co-host by listeners over the past year.

Listen, Woofie in a Blue Dress: You are the one who took exception with the posting of Mark's joke (though, lots of truth in that joke. LOTS). Besides, I listen to the show for the comic stylings of the QCB.

My bad on the Bobcats/Davidson logo I didn't look at it close enough...Anyway I know why you listen to that show Its because Mike Krzyzewski has co-hosted it before. Did you leave him out on purpose??

Finally, on the subject of "Primetime with the Packman" and WFNZ's lineup:

1-They carry UNC hoops, Davidson hoops, and UNCC hoops. Thus, they are at the top.
2- They carry Braves games, ESPN Sunday night baseball, and Sunday/Monday night football games. They also carry select Westwood One college football games. Thus, THOSE logos are at the top.
3-The guest roster of Packer's show includes several writers from area papers (John Delong of the WSJ, Tom Sorenson of the Disturber, Stan Olsen of the Disturber, Richard Walker from the Gastonia Paper) as well as notable sports personalities (Ric Flair, Frank Garcia, Cornbread Maxwell, and, GASP! Mike Gminski, a DUKE alumnus!). Plus, the show gets a huge assortment of guests from all segments of sport, due, in part, to Mark's ties with college golf (voila, Jim Nance) as well as his old man (voila...again...Jim Nance).

Trust me, the show takes shots at each and every school when such shots are warranted. Duke football catches HECK. State, during the Amato era caught heck. When there are jokes to be made about any school, they are made. Check out the show at 5:25 and/or 6:25 daily for the "Whiner Line".
