I'm a State fan/grad and I find it funny how Duke thinks the refs are always against them lol UNC and Duke both get the benefit of the doubt from the refs. I've seen nothing one sided at all in the game so far. I just wish my Wolfpack would have shown up tonight so I could have watched them instead.

So this time if Dook loses it's b/c Hansbrough at the game? God you better hope there is never a game where Hansbrough and Obama both are at a Dook game the world will end.

GT Dang you're already blaming the refs and the games not even tipped off lol You dookies gotta stop trying to blame refs everytime. Obviously you watch games with blinders on or you'd notice all the help that Duke gets from refs as well. I'm diehard UNC all the way but they'll need to play like the team that played Michigan St and Kentucky early in the year to win. They can do it but if they will is the question. I sure hope so but we'll see.

I'm gonna go out on a limb tonight and say the tar holes prolly will win just because this will make their miserable season complete and so that it will get roy williams off the hook! We all know they shouldn't win but the seniors playing for Duke only have 1 win against the slumping tar holes! If this game was at Duke I would pick Duke to win hands down, but the last couple of years have shown that the refs will be on carowina's side and it might get them a slim chance at turning their season around and maybe even a snow balls chance in H&%L at making the NCAA tourney! We all know that Duke is 7-2 in the ACC and carowina is 2-6 so a loss tonight sure won't hurt Duke's chances at winning the reg season title!! I guess we will see how it all plays out, but I hate the game vs carowina mainly because I hate their fans so much, well their loyal fans who have stuck with them this year when alot of thier so-called fans just cheer for them when they are winning like they did last year and for some reason this year we don't see them much, cause they haven't had much to cheer about! I believe we all know which ones I'm talking about.. ehhh hum Grrrranimal and some others.. GO DUKE!!!!

Travis Wear is out for a while now with a severe ankle sprain. If they lose tonight it's not gonna be b.c Travis doesn't play but it does hurt the Heels worse since Zeller is already out with injury. I actually think it's gonna be a pretty good game tonight.

Heard that Travis Wear broke his ankle in practice and is out for rest of the year. Anyone else heard this? Maybe Ginyard will stump his toe and keep him company on the bench. It's not out of the question for UNC to surprise Duke tonight, but I'm a little amazed that Duke is only a 5 1/2 point favorite going in. I understand that they are retiring Hansbrough's number tonight. Maybe he can do something to fire those lazy, unemotional guys up.

The problem this year is that UNC's "A" Game may only be good enough to win if the opposing team is playing its "B-" or "C" game. Just a fact right now. Duke would have to be off from the perimeter and UNC would have to totally dominate the inside with help from outside; not to mention that they would also have to play defense. They would have to stay in front of the ball which they haven't proven they can do at all this year. Only way for UNC to save any face this year is to beat Duke at some point. It all comes down to that for Carolina.

When Vasquez is ON for Maryland, it's tough for anyone to beat them. He plays hard at all times it seems. If only UNC had a player that cares like that.

Everyone always brings their A game when they play Duke, so I wouldn't be surprised to see unc beat Duke tomorrow night....but let's hope that doesn't happen.

I hope you're right. As little heart as they've shown so far this season, they won't have any problem getting up tomorrow night. Atleast I wouldn't think so. If Drew can play better and if they give 100% on defense for the full 40 minutes I do think they'll have a great chance. At the same time, if they show up and perform the way they have the last 6 games they'll get blown off the floor.

There's a little more to it than that, but thats the root cause. Those two are the hardest things to coach, heart and confidence.

Former Dookie and despite the fact he went to Dook , in my opinino one of the best college basketball analyst there is hit the nail on the head about UNC. Total lack of confidence and heart!

No misprint at all. UNC's just not a good team right now and Maryland is very underrated. The Terps have only got 2 conference losses so far and both on the road to Wake and Clemson. Overall they've got 6 losses and aside from a slip up to William & Mary the other 3 losses were to Villanova,Cinncinnati and Wisconsin(u being a Duke fan knows all about Wisconsin). I'm by no means making any excuses for the butt kicking they put on UNC b/c UNC is a heartless team this year with alot of problems. What i am saying is don't sleep on Maryland this year in the ACC. They're a good team that leads the ACC in practically every offensive stat with a very good coach in Gary Williams.
