Clemson will be a non-factor in basketball this year...much like they have been in football. Sorry.
Perhaps you can spend the time you otherwise would watching them lose studying how to construct a coherent argument, instead. I'm all about fans pulling for their respective teams, but contending that Clemson will beat Carolina, Duke, or Wake this year sounds a bit outlandish.

Personally I think you should substitute NC State for Clemson in that joke, but either way :D

UNC student and Clemson student are talking.
UNC student: What do you think about the international crisis?
Clemson student: Well, its a good tractor if you can get parts.

Number of Duke players who have ever won an NBA championship:
3:
1. Jeff Mullin with the Warriors in 1976 2. Danny Ferry with the Spurs in 2001 3. Christian Laetner with the Heat in 2006
Of course, of those 3, only Mullin played appreciable minutes, and even he was on on the downside of his career.

How many of those Duke players actually start? I will take Chris Paul, Tim Duncan, and Josh Howard over all of Dukes players in the NBA. Thanks!

On Oct 28 the NBA tipped off the 2008-2009 season. For the fourth time in the past five years it is the alumni of head coach Mike Krzyzewski's program who are leading the way in both numbers of alumni in the league and aggregate salary paid.
Duke: $74,307,096 Arizona: $73,621,905 North Carolina: $69,082,854 Connecticut: $66,523,212 Kansas: $61,359,781 Georgia Tech: $48,528,657 Michigan State: $45,785,710
As the old saying goes, You get what you pay for.

Clemson? The team that lost all its seniors? All they have is KC Rivers.
UNC....Duke....Miami or Wake....Wake or Miami....Clemson somewhere in the realm of irrelevancy.
Some ACC fan halfwit must have gave you a piece of their mind, and you held onto it.
