I wonder why Coach K won 3 national championships to Dean Smiths 2. Many sports writers question why he only won two with all the talent he had go through his program. Arguably more talent than John Wooden had and you know how many he won.

In 1998, l was 10..l pulled for them even then...although l didnt appreciate as much of the game then as l do now..I pulled for them...had to ask the parentals about that question for you.

Carolina went 12-4 vs duke with 2 of the wins by duke coming by 2 or less points.

Carolina basketball fans were out and about fully in the 90's, Duke Blue. Carolina went to Final Fours in: 1991, 1993, 1995, 1997, and '98, winning a title in '93. That's 5 FF's in 10 years; that's a fairly decent clip. I think a better question would have been "where were UNC fans during the D'oh! Era"?
