Well about 50% of UConn's votes on ESPN came from the North Eastern part of the U.S.! Duke won every state besides that part of the country. I seen just as many UConn fans at the game as Duke fans, so believe what you want to. You must have caught the end of the game where all the UConn fans left because they knew it was over.

I rarely put any credit to ESPN Fan Polls.
I put more faith in Seeing the fans in the stands, and the announcers commenting as well that it wasn't a Home Game for either team, as they both have a Big following up there.
Against any other team, Duke would have been Home, and against any other tea, UCONN would have been home with the fanbase they have.

I think you need to go look at the ESPN polls to see how bad Duke lost the votes up North to UCONN about who will win today's game Yanks before you make a statement like that! It wasn't even close. You will find out when Mason comes back that he is not just another Zubeck!

That was a Home game for either team as duke plays there EVERY year and thier fan concentration is Up North where most duke kids come from(Jersey Area).
I said l credti dukes defense some, but the 2nd half for Uconn had alot of missed shots, that they were making early on.
They too are a young team and the seasoned Duke team was able to get ahead of them and through experience, stay ahead of them.
Plumee is just another Zuebeck(sp?), some1 to take up space and 5 more fouls.

Well I'm shocked Yanks had any good things to say, but if you had of watched the whole game you should have noted how much better Duke's Defense is, and how it will only get better as the year goes on. Mason Plumlee will be another tall guy inside to help with the rebounding and put backs when he comes back in a couple of weeks. And I also thought Duke didn't play any ranked teams, and that was basically a home game for UConn as much as they play MSG, and Duke handled them pretty easily besides when Coach K went to slowing the game down, which I don't agree with. I will say that Duke has gotten alot better a rebounding and that will only help their chances this year.

Good win..UConn was terrible from the field..If they get a legitimate 3 point shooter..they could be dangerous next year..with all that explosiveness.
Credit dukes defense some but shooting below 30%, you wont win against anyone.

Duke plays LSU coming up and depending on who wins the UCONN game, they should get them next so please STFU!! The last time I checked UCONN is ranked in the top 25!! And Gonzaga is a lot better than what people are proclaiming them to be. I think they should be ranked being they almost beat Michigan State a week or so ago at Michigan State.

Early season rankings mean nothing, Michigan St, Kentucky and Texas haven't played anybody either.
Michigan State has defeated Florida Gulf Coast, Toledo and Valparaiso.

Texas has defeated UC Irvine, Western Carolina and Iowa.

Kentucky has defeated Morehead State, Miami (OH), Sam Houston State and Rider. WOW.

Where was the pudding when they lost the other night. Duke must be popular cause even though Carolina won the championship last season, funny thing to me is that Duke is the most talked about.
