Oh and sense l didn't have the time to reply last week when everyone wanted to bring up Carolina's new record of having the most wins following a National Title and that it would never be broken..lets not forget two more records out there... 25 straight trips to the dance- Carolina 30 points-Margin of victory in a National Title game...UNLV beat Duke by 30....two more records that will never be broken :D

If I had to pick a team that has a better shot at winning it all, I'd say Kansas. In the games I've watched they've played more consistently. Duke, Kentucky, and Syracuse look too vulnerable. They all rely on their main guy playing lights out. As good as Carolina's team and bench was last season, they couldn't have won it without Ty Lawson. This year one of the powers could squeak by a game or two if they get outdumbed. Kentucky was beaten every way but in the W column against Mississippi State yesterday, and Kyle Singler outsmarted 3 straight weaker teams for Duke in the ACC Tourney. Syracuse lost out early in theirs, so maybe the extra rest helps them some - helped UNC last year. Kentucky may go back to struggling some next year if Cousins and Wall are "1 and done". Hard to pick a bracket to the Elite 8 this season - everyone is subject to an upset on a mediocre night. The team that can scrap by a couple times on an off night will move to the end. I'd like to see a Final Four without any teams from the Big East, Big 10, SEC, PAC 10, or Big 12.

All arguing aside for a minute, I'll tell you what Duke had this year, a guy with some basketball sense on the court. I watched a bunch of teams play ball this year, and I witnessed way too many idiotic players on the court. There are a lot of athletic players around the country, but the BB IQ has gone way down this year. A couple good examples - Georgia Tech has some talented big men in Favors and Lawal and others, but those guys are right in the middle of unforced turnovers constantly, seemingly out of position 95% of the time, and constant in-action poor decisions. Kentucky's team is also very young, but without Wall playing on target, they stink. Cousins can't get it done without Wall on the court. By the end of the first year, even these freshmen should be seasoned a bit. Wake Forest same way. Duke didn't always have the shots fall this year, but at least they knew what needed to be done. When Singler was off, the Duke team struggled. When Singler was on, especially in the clutch moments, Duke was hard to beat. Duke will definitely miss Singler next year. It helped to have 3 scorers on the team, but Singler got it done for them. I think the athleticism has evened out a bunch of teams top to bottom this year, but the lack of basketball sense has also done the same thing. Players like Ty Lawson and Kyle Singler don't come around all that much. UNC has some talent potential this year and definitely coming in next year, but I really just hope they get some players who can actually think in action. If your ballhandlers and scorers can't do that, you can't win. That's what wins games, that's what makes all the other surrounding players better. I will agree to disagree always with Dookies, but you guys earned your spots this year with some court sense and I do respect that.

Congrats on the #1 seed, I'll say it was deserved, but l still don't see them getting too far..they are worn down.

As for Wolfpack, saying an ACC title or the NCAA Tourny is something the Tarheels will not see for a long time is just another sign of your ignorance..ONE bad year AFTER winning a National Title(something Duke hasnt done lately) and you're ready to condem them for life?lolz

Please, don't hype your duke team too much for they havent won anything yet..regular season means nothing to the top programs like carolina, duke, kentucky, and kansas...it's all about the National Titles and thats something we have more of in the last 5 years than any1 else..providing Kansas doesnt win it this year..which is highly likely.

Duke, without a career performance from Singler(which drained everything he had left for the big dance) should have lost to the bottom feeder of the ACC yesterday..and y'all think they are gonna do something special in the tourny?haha

Too funny :)

Let me know when Dook wins another National Championship; I'll start pulling for them to break our record. UNC's already had a couple chances at that one the past 5 years.  Been a while for the Dookies.

I'm not trying to take anything away from carowina and their record setting 16 losses following a National Championship season but yesterday Duke passed carowina for the most wins in the ACC Tournament and today made that 86 wins to the tarholes 84!!!! Now back to the 16 losses... I'm sure that will be a record the carowina tarholes will hold for years to come and maybe forever. So Local that will give you and your fellow unc graduates something to talk about since they won't be around this time next week!!!! AHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAH LMAO!!!!

Can't believe all the empty seats in Greensboro with 2 North Carolina teams in the semi-finals.
