The best team ever in the ACC?
I didn't realize the 1974 Wolfpack was in action tonight. Dang, wish I'd had tickets.

Nobody is crying you idiot. I predicted the score of this game 2 days ago. If you knew anything about basketball at all you'd know that i'm saying if you take away a teams starting point guard plus the backup and force them to play the 3rd string guy against a top 5 team in the country they're going to struggle.

You're right Bud. Without Lawson or even the second point guard Frasor, UNC is average. Then take into account the poor shooting of the rest of the backcourt tonight and it was Duke hanging on to beat an average team. I'm not making any excuses b/c i said a day or two ago that the outcome without Lawson would be a 10-15 point Duke win, but if Lawson had been in the game tonight Duke fans and Duke bandwagon jumpers like you would be singing a different tune.

Congrats Duke on a fine win against an average team.

Bud, the only nerve you struck was when you admitted you abandoned State for Duke. You are lower than K-Rat trying to bit-- William Avery into staying, lower than K-Rat telling McRoberts he wouldn' thave to play the 5 at Duke (and then having him play the 5), lower than Elton Brand's love of Duke (trust me, he doesn't).

Actually the first two are on the money but i would switch three and four. It takes a real coaching genius to teach the four corners offense. Yea right, The only thing Dean Smith accomplished was getting the shot clock introduced. Which was a good thing!!
Can you say boring!! I might even put Bobby Knight in front of Smith since he has more wins.

Bud must have taken English classes at State.
Interesting poll in USA Today this morning: Fans were asked to rank the all-time best college hoops coaches.
1-Wooden 2-Rupp 3-Smith 4-KRat
The top 3 are right on the money, but that 4th one is a little high.

Connie, there is a barn out in Traphill that is falling in. It is full of cows and their behinds.
It is just as good as Cameron, and the cow behinds just as attractive as the Duke female students.

I'd have been happy to sit on the roof...just to be at Cameron, on Duke campus and in the midst of such wonderment was well worth my time, effort and gas $. I saw a sign that said "Chapel Hill" and threw up a little in my mouth...

50 feet? Dang, Connie, 5 more feet, and the spittle from K-Rats obscenity laced diatribes would have hit in the face. Try harder next time.
Too bad the broadcaster that Dookies ,hate above all others wasn't there, so you could trip him and beat him up.
I speak of course of Jay Bilas, former Duke player turned actual, unbiased broadcaster. (He has called for a semi-circle around the basket, to help reduced charge calls; the Duke flop would be curtailed severely.)
