Foods good! But the tea is horrible!

They need a better exhaust system. The fried odor is strong. It is smokey in there sometimes with a grease feel and smell in the room. When you leave, your hair and clothes smell of grease. The food, however, is good. No complaints with the food.

This time was the worst. Not only was the BBQ mush but we ask for 4 baked potatoes with butter and they gave us 3 tarter sauces and no butter. We ask for enough okra for 4 people and we got just enough for 1 and it wasn't fit to eat. I think this has done me in this time. If they had been really busy I could the mix up, but there were hardly any people there when we went to pickup the order. If they got the same thing we did no wonder. The waitress was nice though.

I like Paw Paws. I always get a fish and popcorn shrimp plate. Nice folks, good food and very affordable.

Here's the deal. The tea is.... Weird. The food isn't pipping hot but it is good tasting. The service is good and the prices are great. This place just needs a little work and I think it could be great. They need a real smoker. They need to stop making stuff in advance, like the fries. They need to learn how to season the food better.

Best chicken tenders EVER! Not flat frozen kind. These are hand breaded and plump! Yummy!

Excellent food ! Great small salad that comes with your meal! I love the popcorn shrimp and baked potato w/salad - when I am not dieting. This is one of my favorite meals! My husbands loves the fish platter and the BBQ platters and also the salads. Excellent food for an amazing price! Excellent service!!!

Not very good. Go in and look into the kitchen. OMG very nasty, you can see it from the tables. I don't think they ever clean it. All the food is greasy and fries are never hot.

Friday aug 16, 4pm. Hamburger steak plate. Meat was not cooked, raw red inside. French fries barely cooked-terrible. Slaw was good, but the juice has ruined the french toast and fries in a take-out plate. They should put it in a sealed cup. Bad experience,

If you don't like the BBQ should try the sea food ...they called my dad Catfish ..and they for sure have the best around ..

BEST FOOD IN TOWN. its great to go into a place and see april whom owns the place working just as hard as her employees and we have never had a bad meal there and they are the most affordable place around.

I like eating here, I love the cabbage, pintos, the bbq salad with ranch dressing is good the waitress are very nice.

Wonderful waitress. Horrible barbecue. Cooked with gas and no smoke. The tea tasted moldy --- like the icemaker had not been cleaned. Tables were dirty. We will not go back.

There is no smoke on there Q just heard it from the owner myself last week. I get so tired of ppl giving places good reviews that suck. This place has good veggies that is it. BBQ is NOT EVEN SMOKED.

Papaw's is great! My girlfriends and I love eating there for lunch. The owner Alan sure knows how to run a great restaurant he always speaks and tells us to enjoy. Nice guy! Keep it up and we'll keep coming. :)
