BEST Mexican restaurant in town. Huge portions cooked perfectly every time. Wait staff rates a 10! Will not eat Mexican anywhere else! Unlike other so-called Mexican cuisine restaurants in town, food is served fast, hot, delicious and the closest to authentic available. LOVE THE RESTAURANT, THE FOOD, AND THE STAFF.

As with what everyone else states, prices went up. Way overpriced for the area and some things higher than what I pay in bigger cities. Not my daily go to place.

Way overpriced for the portion. The chips and salsa are good but the cup is too small and runs out before you finish the chips. Pointless to include plastic spoon with that. Bill never made it to the table had to go to register. I had the steak fajitas, again small portion, but was good despite no melted cheese and extras that normally comes with it at other places. La Fuentes in Elkin is much more food and their salads are about $4 cheaper fyi.

We use to eat at this restaurant when is was in Wilkesboro all the time. So disappointed now! The food is way overpriced for the portion size. The food was not the same quality! We only saw our server twice and had no idea the bill was at the register. These other reviewers must work there. No way I’m going back!

New location is Extremely overpriced!!! Never again. Don't even get the bill at table and have to ask for a receipt!

Most authentic Mexican food in town. Have tried more than half of items on menu and have never been disappointed. Originally from Southern California and I have eaten in over 100 different Mexican restaurants, but I have never been to one that gives you FOUR (4) Enchiladas in a plate until La Fortuna, and they are terrific!

I have been eating here since discovering it in 2008. It is authentic food, three choices of salsa with chips are good for all tastes, cucumbers and radishes are a super touch. I have never had anything bad here and take anyone who likes authentic south of the border food here whenever possible. Definitely not close to your typical chain fast serve hot plate!!

This is the closest thing to Authentic Mexican food I've found in the country. The food is always satisfying and fresh, the service has always been above and beyond my expectations, and the staff is so friendly. also you can't beat their prices.

Best authentic Mexican in Wilkes. The staff are always pleasant, and the food is always good. I have never had a negative experience with them.

Great food but the lady at the check out has an attitude problem, very arrogant and needs to have some training in customer service.

I believe the lady at the check out is really nice and SHE DOES NOT NEED costumer service training, people on here think they know everything about costumer service but they don't know anything. The food is awesome best I've had.

This restaurant is simply amazing. The waiters and staff are all nice and friendly. Above all the food is spectacular; never ceases to amaze me. Oh and the lady at the front is polite and inviting- not arrogant what so ever!

ARACELI, THE LADY AT THE FRONT DESK MIGHT SEEM A LTTLE STRESSED SOMETIMES BUT SHE HAS MORE THAN ENOUGH REASONS TO FEEL SO.. THEY ARE VERY NICE AND WELCOMING, ITS AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD IF THAT IS WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR.
