Wild onions

Wild onions are wild garlic and can be eaten .They were used for years to season food by the mountian folks and Indians in the Blue Ridge Mountians.
In my Foxfire books the old folks used them to season beans and soup , they even dried them to use in the winter .
Pull some up and try them ,the bigger the plant the stronger the flavor.

Can you use wild onions? I have tons that are in my yard. Wondered if I can transplant them somewhere and start an onion bed. Has anyone done this?
