God bless ya sassy, up here ours won't be ready for another two weeks, that's why we put in cherry's, put in san marzano this year, plums....gonna make and freeze alotta sauce

I just picked 54 tomatoes off of my 10 vines planted down the side of my carport. They are so heavy the vines are breaking.

onion smotherd pork chops, fried mac and cheese, gots a lot leftover, green salad with cheery maters from our garden, we're gonna have cheery maters comin outta our ears

We had homemade barbecue, homemade cole slaw, homemade hushpuppies and french fries. That was some good eats.

Just had a thick juicy mushy mator sammich. Hubby picked the mators fresh this morning.Bushman..ain't nothing like a mator sammich...Best thing about summer is the fresh vittles.

Must be Yankee soulfood. Never heard of anybody down here eating anything such as that.
I'm grilling some porkchops that have been marinating in homemade sauce to go with some fresh tomatoes and corn on the cob.
