It's jello with usuallly a clear liquor, like Everclear or vodka, made with Jello. You can pour them in shot glasses, but usually paper or plastic cups work better because you can squeeze the sides to get the jello out, or cube it up and put in your glasses. In glass shot glasses, if you pour it in initially, you have to work it out with your tongue.
