As i was growing up my mom always made this dish, some people like to use it as and entree' and others as a dip. but,i love it and i make it all the time.

we just call it mexican...

pretty easy;

1lb ground beef
1 pack of taco seasoning
2 blocks of creme cheese
1 can of refried beans
1 lg jar of salsa
1-2 bags of shreded cheese ((depends how much cheese you like))
tortilla chips.=)

brown the beef, and then add the seasoning. Then in a large pan spread the refried beans, and then a layer of creme cheese on top of that (( which should have set out long enough to be soft enough to spread))then add the layer of seasoned beef. Next is the salsa, and then the shreaded cheese. put this in the oven at 350 degrees for about 25-30 min or untill the cheese is a nice golden brown and dish it out. Serve with chips!!

my favorite dish ever. let me know what you think.
