Deep-fry in peanut oil, after brining for 24 hours and injecting with chicken stock and "pumpkin essence".

I am going to try the upside turkey that Manic posted. Sounds weird but it may be juicy.

Moving, I like the drinking beer idea. That would be about it, I let someone else bake the turkey...

Open a can of beer and drink 1/2 of the beer. Pour the other 1/2 in a glass. Cut the beer can down to about 2/3 its full height. Pour the beer you didn't drink back in the can. Set the partial can of beer in the turkey cavity. Then do all the usual buttering, seasoning, bagging, and baking.
Extra juicy. Extra tasty.

.If the turkey weights 15 pounds, cook it 3 hours in a cooking bag covered with butter!!!!
Shouldn't the butter be on the turkey, instead of the bag??

Uh. Why you asking about my first sexual encounter? What's that got to do with a turkey?
BTW, I know on which side my own breasts reside.
Hope, you'll love my turkey. It'll be juicy, and yummy.... and now this will be the year I screw my turkey up because I'm bragging about it...lol

dabbob... I was very young at the time. But heck, after the delicious results I got, I was glad I did. And, I've cooked mine upside down every year since.
I don't cook it overnight, though... and I've never used a bag. I just rub mine down with butter, flip him upside down, bake him until he's almost done, then flip him over to brown.
I can cook a **** good bird, yo.
