Taco Soup
2 pounds lean ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
2 (3 to 4-ounce) cans green chilies
1 (16-ounce) can pinto beans, drained
1 (16-ounce) can lima beans, drained
1 (16-ounce) can whole kernel corn
1 (16-ounce) can kidney beans
3 cans chopped tomatoes
1 package ranch salad dressing mix
1 package taco seasoning
1-1/2 cups water (or liquid from drained cans)
Dump everything into a crock-pot and let cook until
beans are tender. (Set on low for 8 hours or so.)

Here's what I do:

Get a pound of ground beef browned in a skillet. Add a large chopped up onion. Add a packet of Taco seasoning.

In a crockpot: Add 2 cans of red kidney beans (one drained), one can of drained corn, one (or two) can of tomato sauce, beef mixture. Cook on high for several hours.

Dip over a bowl of corn chips and shredded cheddar cheese.
