Sweet Mustard Dressing Makes about 1/2 cup Ingredients 1/4 cupOlive Oil 2 tablespoons honey 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar 4-1/2 teaspoons Dijon mustard 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar Salt and freshly ground black pepper In small screw-topped jar, combine olive oil, honey, white wine vinegar, mustard and balsamic vinegar. Shake vigorously until well blended. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Store dressing in refrigerator up to 1 week. Shake well before using. Sweet Mustard Dressing 2 2 1/2 tbsp. Dijon mustard 1/3 cup honey 1/3 cup mayonnaise 2 1/2 tbsp. course-grained mustard (creole) 1 1/2 tbsp. rice vinegar 8 oz. carton plain yogurt Whisk ingredients together in small bowl. Cover and chill thoroughly. Tips & Warnings Consider using low-fat or nonfat dairy products for a healthy alternative. Coat the measuring cup with nonstick cooking spray before measuring honey, for easier removal. For a thinner, tangier dressing, leave out the mayonnaise and yogurt, and substitute a tablespoon or two of vegetable oil.

You can purchase this under it's retail name at most supermarkets. Brand name is Marzetti's Honey Mustard. Applebee's buys it, unlabeled, by the gallon.

i tried the applewood chicken at applebee's and fell in love with the salad it comes with, the dressing is a sweet mustard dressing... does anyone know what it is or something similar?
it was a lot thinner then a honey mustard but it could have been thinned down with something i don't know
i asked our server but she had no clue, she told us it was some kinda hot vinagrette when the menu clearly states sweet mustard dressing lol dingy but she kept us served well and earned her tip
