I've never had a failure with Splenda. I use it exactly like sugar and it always works for me. If you haven't tried it then you really are in for a treat. BTW, I just hate all other artificial sweeteners except fresh Stevia leaves. They are about 10 times sweeter than sugar but do have a little different taste.

i wonder if you could use splenda for your sweeter.

SUGAR - FREE FUDGE

1/4 c. diet butter
2 oz. unsweetened chocolate
24 pkgs. sweetener
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (8 oz.) pkg. reduced calorie cream cheese, softened
1/3 c. nuts, chopped

Melt butter over low heat, add chocolate and stir just until melted.
Remove from heat and stir in sweetener and vanilla. Combine chocolate
mixture with cream cheese and beat until smooth. Stir in the nuts and
spread mixture in a lightly greased 8 inch square pan. Refrigerate until
firm. Cut into 1 inch squares. Store in refrigerator. Makes 64 squares.
